A Servant’s Heart

Elisha joined Hope is Strong Ministries, Inc. in March of 2024 as our first Program Facilitator. His service in this role has provided additional support and accountability for the seven churches we serve through in Tanzania, and provided us with ministry updates. Elisha has also enhanced the discipleship ministry with the children and youth, by leading them and hosting Children Camps for the surrounding community. He oversees Hope is Strong Foundation. It is by God’s grace and your special donations that we were capable of providing him monthly love offerings.

In January, he shared with me that God was leading him to reach the students in the universities. We have already seen him follow God’s steps in obedience taking leadership teams out to the area schools and teaching other youth leaders how to share the Word of God with their students.

Yesterday, I received an update from Elisha, and that he has already taking some steps on his own in increasing his knowledge of serving the vulnerable children by obtaining a certificate in Trauma and Crisis Care with a OM Zambia and he has been accepted for a special program they offer.

Elisha’s request, “Due to the vision I have for Hope is Strong Ministries, I have the desire to pursue further studies to enhance my capacity and effectiveness in the Ministry. I have applied (and have been accepted) for admission to OM Zambia for the Reach Equipping for all Nations training program which will take place from 3 March to 19 July 2025.”

Program cost: $773.00 (includes all accommodations)
Study Permit: $250 (for Zambia student visa)
Travel fees: $57
