Men’s Ministry

In September, the men at Nyasura BC and Biharamulo BC held their very first Men’s Ministry meeting. During this time they gathered in fellowship, encouraging one another through God’s Word and enjoyed a meal together.

I earlier shared how God led them to starting this ministry, it was during our time in Tanzania, we held men’s and women’s conferences at both churches. During the conference in Biharamulo we discovered that many men, fathers, had not attended. But it wasn’t just the conference that they were missing from, they were not attending church on a regular basis.

“For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ is the head of the church, his body, and is himself its Savior”. Ephesians 5:23

If our mission is “Uniting together, through faith in Jesus Christ…” we had to ask ourselves, how are we doing this with so many men missing?

The leaders at Biharamulo and Nyasura, as well as the men, who attended the conference, quickly rose up to the help meet this need. They formed their first Men’s Ministry.

We are thankful for the sponsored donors who have come alongside of this new ministry to support our men and fathers in Tanzania. Please join us in prayer ask God to continue changing the lives of these men and their families.

Officially an NGO in Tanzania!

Introducing Hope is Strong Foundation – Tanzania. We are excited to see how God is already using this new Non Government Organization status!

The team in Tanzania have been faithful in discipleship through Bible Clubs and Children and Youth Conferences, reaching the community around the Bunda Mara Region of Tanzania.
