When we visit our friends at Nyasura Baptist Church in Tanzania, we can always expect a warm welcome. It doesn’t take long for us to be surrounded by many children who have so little but have so much joy!

But may the righteous be glad and rejoice before God; 
may they be happy and joyful. Ps. 68:3

While some of the children are drawn by the curiosity of our different clothes and different colored skin, others remember us from our previous visits and are excited to reconnect.

Last year we visited one of the churches that recently joined the feeding ministry. While we were there we met some children who were shy and very nervous around us. This broke my heart, but it also reminded me that we have more work to do. When we build trust with the children, they are more open to hear what we have to share, The Gospel.

This year, we have an opportunity to visit these children again, as well as a new group. We would like to bring some extra items with us that will help breakdown those barriers.
