Ways to Pray

We’ve had opportunity to get to know the youth in Tanzania, Africa over the last few years. We tend to think just because their culture and environment are different than ours, that our spiritual struggles may be different. The fact is that the enemy is the same here as he is there. He is working in the same way regardless of our location.

We’ve seen youth in Tanzania…

  • shy away from glorifying Christ when their peers see them differently.
  • question their identity in Christ
  • struggle with self-control, including in their relationships.
  • in extreme loss of hope, one that would even lead them to end their life.

So you can see, the enemy is working in the same way as he is in our youth here in America.

But God…He is Sovereign. For in Him we can put our Hope.

On Saturday, June 1st, Nyasura BC will be hosting their first Youth Conference. This conference will be led by our Program Facilitator, Elisha Motomoto and his team. This past Friday, the leadership team had a meeting to pray and plan for this conference. They have invited over 600 youth in their area to attend.

Will you join us in praying for this conference? Please pray for strength and knowledge of the Lord for the leaders. Pray for youth attending, that their eyes and hearts to be enlightened with God’s Truth and that they are encouraged to share the Gospel with others.

Our 2024 Mission Team is preparing for our upcoming trip. Here are a few ways to start pray for us (both US and Tanzanian team):

  • Pray for our hearts to be open to God’s plans
  • Pray for our families that remain at home, for peace and comfort
  • Pray for travel mercies
  • Pray for God to break our hearts for those who don’t know Him. No hesitation when He provides the opportunity.
